“Small Cloisonne Vase XIX Eme Barbedienne Taken Elephants Bronze Chisels” This small cloisonné vase, probably manufactured by Barbedienne, is beautifully crafted. Two elephant sockets, in ornamentation a red background and blue enamelling decorated with flowers. Note that the thread turns in a vacuum despite the cork affixed below, friction and wear in places especially on the blue, small deformation at the top of the collar, on the bottom a little verdigris and micro-scratches .
