Uncommon cigarette/ cigar holder music box from the mid-century period in Italy around 1960. Beautifully designed as Tempietto with onyx and silvered parts, this exceptional music box carries an amazing secret: when you push the button on the base, the suisse musical mechanism (by the manufactory of Reuge) starts playing. Just like magic, the doors begin to slowly open and present their inner workings: 6 delicate silvered cigar holders with red fabric. In this moment it also offers a view of the “faun” – the rustic forest god of the Roman mythology who is playing his flute in the center.
