This bronze cup is from the Napoleon III period. It is enhanced with painted flowers, enhanced with gold, with beautiful bronze ornamentation.19th century, no doubt. Stamped “Château de Vincennes” and the marking of Sèvres. La Manufacture de Vincennes is a porcelain factory created in 1740 within the walls of the Château de Vincennes, Val-de-Marne and transferred in 1756 to Sèvres to form the Manufacture de Sèvres. The painted medallion decoration is signed Garnier. Note the verdigris on the bronze parts as well as rust around the perimeter of the bronze ornamentation inside the section. Enamel jumps on the top of the porcelain base, surely due to too aggressive cleaning of the bronze part. The dormers and painted decorations are in excellent condition. Usual wear and friction. Don’t hesitate to zoom in. The photos are an integral part of the description. Dimensions: Height: 25.4 cm Width: 23.7 cm (handle to handle) Length: 14.2 cm.
