Marble and Steel Elliptical Centerpiece by Stella Orlandino for Kimano

Eclitic in red glazed stone is part of a collection of centerpieces with an elegant and modern design, designed in 2020 by the designer Stella Orlandino. For an easy combination with any environment, it is characterized by precious brushed marble nuances that metaphorically resume the material chromaticism of the planets of our solar system and which are enclosed inside a trafled black iron tray painted powder. Eclitic, in fact it is an architectural reflection on the Milky Way: it is the center of a region called zodiac. Traditionally, this region is divided into 12 signs, each of 30 ° of longitude and take their name from 12 of the 13 constellations of the Milky Way that are on the horseback of the Eclitic. The aim was to enclose the ecliptic in an apparent motion, like a belt forged by the stars of the constellations, keeping a slice of universe reflected in a chiaroscuro game … like during an eclipse.The ecliptic trays by Stella Orlandino are made in Italy.
