Dragonfly Mahogany Writing Desk

This table is a one of a kind piece built by hand in 2023 by artist Christopher Grant Ward. It is built from sustainable African mahogany, with hand-carved bubinga hardwood inlay. No toxic stains or dyes are used. Finished in organic tung oil. Dimensions are 97” x 28” x 30”

Perfect as a desk, wine tasting table, foyer, or accent table, the Dragonfly is symbol of new beginnings and a totem of free expression. The two legs at center are entwined in a dancer’s pose, ready to spring into life. The eccentric curve invites communion. The diagonal struts are removable as desired to accommodate chairs.
